By using Petite Jérusalem, in particular by creating an account or publishing a shared reading session, you agree to these terms.

The service

Petite Jérusalem is a free service for studying and sharing texts of the Jewish tradition: reading library, shared reading sessions, chiourim, halachic times. Creating an account is optional and free; users agree to provide accurate information.

User-generated content

Some content is written by users and visible to others: the title and description of shared reading sessions, the creator's display name and participants' names. You are solely responsible for the content you publish.

Zero tolerance for abusive content

Petite Jérusalem applies zero tolerance towards objectionable content and abusive users. It is in particular forbidden to publish:

  • hateful, discriminatory, antisemitic or racist content, or content glorifying violence;
  • insults, harassment, threats or personal attacks;
  • obscene, pornographic or shocking content;
  • spam, advertising or misleading content;
  • unlawful content or content infringing the rights of others.

Any breach may lead, without notice, to the content being hidden or removed and the account being blocked or deleted.

Reporting and moderation

An automatic filter blocks clearly offensive or hateful terms at publication time. Any visitor can report a session (the “Report” button on the session page); a session reported by several people is hidden automatically pending review. Reports are reviewed promptly, as a rule within 24 hours, and content that breaches these terms is removed. Every user can also block a creator to stop seeing their content on their device.

Accounts

You can delete your account and data at any time from Profile → Security. Phenixel reserves the right to suspend or delete an account used in breach of these terms.

Personal data

The processing of personal data is described in the privacy policy.

Changes and governing law

Phenixel may change these terms at any time; changes take effect as soon as they are published on this page. These terms are governed by French law. See also the legal notice.
